70cm Repeaters in Sweden / Conflict with LPD Devices

The Swedish 70cm repeaters are (in most cases) in the range from RU368 (434.600 Mhz) to RU398 (434.975 Mhz) for the output. The input is 1.6 Mhz lower (that is, shift is –1.6 Mhz). For this reason LPD operation is not allowed in Sweden (probably suiting the radio amateurs) as the LPD channels are in conflict with the repeater channels, as shown in the table.

Swedish 70cm repeater frequencies
Channel Repeater input Repeater output
RU368 433.000 Mhz 434.600 Mhz = LPD62
RU370 433.025 Mhz 434.625 Mhz = LPD63
RU372 433.050 Mhz 434.650 Mhz = LPD64
RU374 433.075 Mhz = LPD1 434.675 Mhz = LPD65
RU376 433.100 Mhz = LPD2 434.700 Mhz = LPD66
RU378 433.125 Mhz = LPD3 434.725 Mhz = LPD67
RU380 433.150 Mhz = LPD4 434.750 Mhz = LPD68
RU382 433.175 Mhz = LPD5 434.775 Mhz = LPD69
RU384 433.200 Mhz = LPD6 434.800 Mhz
RU386 433.225 Mhz = LPD7 434.825 Mhz
RU388 433.250 Mhz = LPD8 434.850 Mhz
RU390 433.275 Mhz = LPD9 434.875 Mhz
RU392 433.300 Mhz = LPD10 434.900 Mhz
RU394 433.325 Mhz = LPD11 434.925 Mhz
RU396 433.350 Mhz = LPD12 434.950 Mhz
RU398 433.375 Mhz = LPD13 434.975 Mhz

With two LPD devices, one set to LPD1 for repeater input, the other set to LPD65 for repeater output, it should be possible to work via a RU374 repeater.

The 70cm repeaters in Stockholm have +1.6 Mhz shift (date of this information: summer 2005). There is at least one repeater (Kungsbacka) which has -2 Mhz shift.
